Wauchope-Bonny Hills has a strong interest in surf boat rowing. Over the years, our boaties have done us proud in competition, rowing brilliantly at the National and Mid North Coast Branch Championships and in the Greater North Coast Series (click here for 2009-10 competition calendar).

Our crews have included local legends like Wayne Gill, Manfred Sonntag, Greg Jamieson, Keith Charles, George Storm, Steve Monaghan, Glenn Miller, Craig Eggins, Rex Larkins, Russell Eichmann, Brandon Armstrong, Justin Stewart, Jason Armstrong, Simon Stennett & Boyd Hetherington. It has been terrific to see a growing number of young ladies taking up the sport in recent times!

The highlight of 2008/09 season was the acquisition of a new boat (pictured left) thanks to the support of Global Procurement Solutions.

We have a proud tradition when it comes to surfboats - our rowers, sweeps & coaches show enormous dedication and their families offer terrific support.
