Our club has endeavoured to respond to the growing number of requests from our younger members regarding the desire to learn to surf.

We have a fairly comprehensive board skills component to our nippers program now - we have small body-boards for the U/6 & 7 year olds and larger rescue-style nipper boards for the older age groups. In the past we have also offered subsidised Learn-to-Surf classes through Port Macquarie Surf School.

Learning to surf is fun and easy, especially for those who are lucky enough to grow up on the beautiful Mid North Coast.

The coaches from Port Macquarie Surf School are fully accredited, licensed and insured with Surfing Australia - the school is Council Approved and operates as a licensed Surfing Australia Surf School.
